iAdmin, a developer of web filtering technologies, announces the release of a new version of its web traffic filtering solution, iAdmin URL Filter.
Version 1.5 adds the ability to force safe (family) search in Google, Bing, Yandex. This option prevents users from searching for dangerous or obscene content using the search engine’s own capabilities.
Optional category detection using the Origin HTTP header will now prevent website rendering from being incorrect when external JavaScript is located on a blocked host.
Interaction diagnostics between system components have also been expanded. Log messages are now available when license limits are exceeded.
The maximum number of users a single server can handle has also been increased. Previously, this limit was limited by the license key.
iAdmin URL Filter is a server-based solution for filtering websites by category in corporate environments or on ISPs. The category database includes the entire global internet, with over 270 million entries. Filtering is carried out based on a system of rules and additional parameters, expanding the capabilities of any proxy server using the ICAP protocol.
