Traffic limitation

The amount of downloaded data directly determines your internet access costs. Downloading completely unnecessary information, such as MP3 files, streaming video, and audio, results in significant charges and interferes with other users’ access to work information. With Internet Administrator, you can limit incoming traffic and significantly reduce your bandwidth usage.

Traffic limits are set for both individual users and groups. You can specify different billing periods, for example, 10 megabytes per day or 100 megabytes per month, depending on your needs. Once the limit is reached, the user’s internet access will be blocked.

In addition to the limit, each user is billed at a lower network level, just like with an internet provider. If necessary, traffic restrictions for specific nodes may not be implemented. Information is stored in the database for each day and can be presented in reports regardless of the restrictions set. The traffic restriction system provides data for each user, department, or the entire network. Monitoring can be performed separately during business hours and during off-hours.
