The
"Internet Administrator for Microsoft ISA server" is an
integrated solution which allows to control and manage
Internet access if you use Microsoft ISA Server in a local
network.
This
version provides a full set of functions of the "Internet
Administrator for Windows", such as monitoring, limitation
of traffic and management of the
access policy to the Internet. Unlike the version for Windows, "Internet Administrator for Microsoft ISA server" obtains the Internet data directly from ISA server. This process is provided with two filters which are installed in ISA server:
the application filter for monitoring NAT and Firewall clients and
the web filter for monitoring inquiries through the web proxy server. As a result the Internet
Administrator traces all traffic which is passing through ISA server, including VPN connections.
"Internet Administrator for Microsoft ISA server" uses the
same fast algorithms of processing of the data, as in the
version for Windows where high speed of processing of
network packets is necessary, and does not slow down work of
a network and the Internet.
